Kati realized that in order for her not to hurt Casey feelings, she has to reach out to her. She felt the need to settle whatever misunderstanding or confusion they both have. She wanted to let Casey feel that her feelings and motives for Jeremy and his son are genuine. However, Casey didn’t feel like they needed to do such a thing but Katie was indeed determined. Their relationship developed over time. A friendship was starting to grow.
