Scott Foley and Jennifer Garner first met in 1998. Jennifer was the guest star on Felicity, and she played the role of the long-distance girlfriend of Noel (Foley), one of the series’ main characters. It was then that the two met. The two of them got married in October 2000. Alias was premiered on ABC in the subsequent year, and Jennifer Garner soon became a household name. During the early years of Felicity, the two of them were just humble stars, and everything was very romantic and exciting. However, all good things soon ended. Scott Foley and Jennifer Garner had announced their separation in April 2003. Their divorce was peaceful and amicable. Jennifer said that she and Scott “really were the victims of Hollywood. Everything is speeded up here — it is a fast-lane life, and if something is not working, it is considered best to end it without much thought. If we lived where I was brought up, we would probably still be together.”
