It Was Not Working
Despite how loud the elephants had already cried, no other people appeared to be on their way to help. That only made the elephants feel worse, and the added pressure of watching the baby elephant struggle irritated them even more. However, they were aware that they should never give up, and as a result, they continued to scream for assistance. Maybe some things don’t work because no one responded to their call for help after several minutes. Something else had to be done.
