Joan Baez

This talented woman was born in 1941. Joan Baez made waves as an activist, musician, and singer-songwriter. In the ‘60s, she was a key figure of the counterculture movement. Most people know her for folk music, but she has actually tried her hand in pop, rock, country, and gospel as well. It is interesting to note that she had been the first to record Bob Dylan’s songs. Over the course of her career, she became known as a global star. In April 2017, she finally entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
