Shirt Loops
Have you ever noticed the loop at the back center of your t-shirts or collared shirts? Surprisingly, this loop serves a bigger purpose, especially back in the ’60s where college students used it to keep their clothes tidy and wrinkle-free. It is also believed that using the loops to hang clothes began in the Navy. As there is no massive closet space in the sea, the sailors’ use these loops to hook their clothes through it, keeping their clothes neat and organized. Since the world has changed so much and things are continuously innovating and inventing to make people’s lives easier, these loops may not mean anything much now compared to before. However, some manufactures still leave them on to indicate classiness and quality.
