Yale University released a psychology study in 2008 that showed that highly intelligent individuals tend to have open-minded opinions. Until they heard multiple voices on the subject, they did not formulate their own views. This is not to say that they’re indecisive. This means that since it was properly formed rather than manipulated, they are more likely to be confident about their opinion. Smarter people, in short, are not closing themselves off to new ideas or opinions.
