Taking into account that NCIS is on its 15th season – we’re excited! Not all series have such a shelf span, but we have the genius authors to thank and characters to worship. Especially the leading ladies of NCIS, and why is that? We want to honor a performance that places females front and center, in powerful positions that others will look up to and respect. In a moment of crazy unrest, we thank the feminist core of NCIS – so we’ve put together the most unforgettable ladies of NCIS and what they’re doing off-script. Only take a peek for yourself!

And we continue with the one and only, the quirky forensic scientist, Abby Sciuto. Come on, boys. There is no easier way to kick off this list. Unfortunately, we’ll have to say farewell to our Caf-Pow chugging Abby as she’s scheduled to quit the program at the end of season 15. However, when it comes to Abby, well, here’s what Perrette had to suggest, “[I] wouldn’t call herself anything but Abby…What she represents is a smart, capable chick that cannot be reduced to a stereotype.” Preach, kid, preach.
