Dikembe Mutombo
From 1991 through 2009, Dikembe Mutombo, who was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, played in the NBA for 18 years. The famous center played for the Denver Nuggets, Atlanta Hawks, and New York Knicks, among others. His net worth is estimated to be over $75 million. Mutombo proposed to Rose, a fellow Congolese-American, the minute they met, and the couple married in 1996. The couple has six children, four of whom they adopted, and they are both prominent members of the Dikembe Mutombo Foundation.
