Jessica Olsson met Dirk Nowitzki at a fundraising event where Nowitzki was tricked into raising his hand in exchange for paying a significant amount for a Ronaldo Diaz painting. For charity, he also went out for two dates. In his head, he is really thinking about scoring a date with the woman he met at the Dallas art gallery. Jessica had lived an anonymous life mostly although her brothers were also professional athletes. Apart from that, she is mostly into arts, hosting charity events, and working in the Dallas art gallery. They dated for two years, and the couple wed last 2012 in 3 different ceremonies: in Kenya, Germany, and their home in Dallas. Now that Nowitzki has retired, they are focused on their charity work, “putting children first and assisting them through programs focusing on their wellbeing, health, and education.” Also, they encourage the community to support local nonprofits and causes they care about.
