I looked at my best buddy in amazement and confusion, wondering what she was talking about. My pulse pounded and my mind raced as I tried to figure out where her unexpected wrath was coming from. “What did I say about you?” I inquired, hoping for some context. She crossed her arms and stared at me, obviously not in the mood for games. The mood was fraught with tension.
