The next day, I began contacting people who knew Cassie before she met my brother. Using social media and shared contacts, I sent out messages and made phone calls, sensing a glimmer of hope. Perhaps someone out there has knowledge. It took some time to obtain responses, but I eventually started hearing back. Some were hesitant, but others were ready to contribute.
