It is common knowledge that Kurt Cobain had been the frontman of Nirvana. If you are from Generation X, you probably worship them! He was born in Washington and started the band with Krist Novoselic and Aaron Burckhard in 1987. They were key players in the grunge scene in Seattle back then. Nirvana signed a deal with DGC and saw a lot of success. “Smells Like Teen Spirit” was one of their most famous songs. Cobain, however, did not enjoy the mainstream media attention that came with their success.
