Steve Austin decided to retire once his body can no longer be injured. He does have an approximated $45 million net, which isn’t really unusual because he has won six WWF championships. Since then he tended to focus on acting upon retirement. He did appear in tv shows and movies like The Expendables and Nash Bridges.
