This is indeed a tragic tale because, on June 22, 2007, Christopher Michael Benoit killed his wife and son. Forward to two days, he decided to commit suicide. Numerous queries were unaddressed, and folks believed he was depressed. Maybe the brain destruction sustained by wrestling did lead to this tragic event. Once the reality of the situation became clear, WWE agreed to eliminate all of his references and statistical data from their home page.
