Michael Douglas was in the area because he was promoting the film One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. The two of them had a conversation and were together for two days. The proposal for Marriage happened two weeks after. The duo decided to get married in March 1977 and had a son, Cameron Douglas, a year later.
